Error codes of G2 Mobility chargers (Alto) and of the TotalEnergies range (Basic, Style, Park, City), which all go through an EV Controller box (G2box) to communicate with the supervision.

Where to read the code: in Chargekeeper, charging station list, connector details, Information column (or list of sessions in progress, Information column). It shows "OCPP code - manufacturer code - information". See Manufacturer error codes.

How G2 Mobility reports its errors

The EV Controller monitors each charge point and reports its state to the supervision. When a charge point is faulted, the error name arrives as the manufacturer code: for example OtherError - CommunicationError or OtherError - PowerOutage in the Information column. Some faults arrive directly as the OCPP code, with no manufacturer code: this is the case of PowerMeterFailure, which Alto chargers also send while charging. The same code is shown in the EV Controller interface (Charge points tab, Error code field).

To configure the EV Controller, see Connect a G2 Mobility / TotalEnergies charger.

EV Controller error codes

Code Meaning What to do OCPP code
NoError No fault — NoError
PowerOutage The charge point tripped (its protection cut the supply) Find the cause of the trip before resetting (qualified electrician) OtherError
CommunicationError No communication between the charge point and the EV Controller (G2box) Check the link between the charge point and the EV Controller (Ethernet cable or Zigbee radio) and that the EV Controller is powered OtherError
PowerSwitchFailure Contactor fault Have the contactor replaced (qualified electrician) PowerSwitchFailure
PowerMeterFailure Energy meter fault Have the charge controller replaced PowerMeterFailure
GroundFailure Earth fault Have the earth circuit checked (qualified electrician) GroundFailure
DoorNotClosed Charger door not properly closed Check and close the door —
UnderVoltage Grid voltage too low (below 207 V) Check the quality of the supply UnderVoltage
OverCurrentFailure Excessive current drawn Check the vehicle OverCurrentFailure
ReaderFailure RFID badge reader fault Check the reader connections or replace it ReaderFailure
Mode3Error Communication error with the vehicle Unplug and plug the vehicle again —
IllegalParkingOccupancy A vehicle occupies the space without charging — —

Diva SP (City): red band, earth fault Earth missing or badly connected on the supply Have a qualified electrician check the earth connection

The Diva SP lights come from a Nexans installation notice whose diagrams are titled "DIVA SP"; the link with the TotalEnergies City model remains (to be confirmed).
