Easee error codes
This page covers Easee chargers (Easee One, Easee Home, Easee Charge, Charge Lite, Charge Core, Charge Up, Charge Max, Charge Pro). It details the codes the charger sends to the supervision, the self-test codes and the Easee app messages, then the lights.
Where to read the code: in Chargekeeper, charging station list, connector details, column
Information (or the in-progress sessions list, column Information). It shows
"OCPP code - vendor code - information". See Manufacturer error codes.
How Easee reports its errors
Through the Easee Cloud OCPP service, when a vehicle is plugged in but gets no current (or less current), the charger sends status SuspendedEVSE and puts the reason for no current (ReasonForNoCurrent), as a number, in the vendor code (vendorErrorCode). On charging stations supervised by Chargekeeper, the OCPP code sent with these values is NoError: the Information column shows for example NoError - 55 (charger waiting for authorization). This is not a fault: it explains the pause.
- Values 1 to 11 and 51 to 57 explain why charging does not start or is suspended;
0(no restriction) and50(no vehicle plugged in) do not report a problem. - Values 25 to 30 and 75 to 81 only report that the current is limited: charging continues, more slowly.
- Value
100(undefined error) and value56(charger in error) require checking the error in the Easee app or Easee Portal.
A number read in the Information column should first be looked up in the ReasonForNoCurrent table below. Self-test codes, app messages and Easee Cloud API values sometimes use the same numbers, but Easee does not document sending them over OCPP.
Easee also states it added further internal codes to the vendor code (OCPP service 1.7.4) without publishing their meaning: ask the Easee integration team. A charger in Faulted stays there until the fatal error is resolved (OCPP service 1.7.5). Native OCPP mode (firmware 344 and later, beta) is not documented and may send other values.
