Ingeteam error codes

Updated on 28 October 2026

This page covers Ingeteam INGEREV charging stations: the RAPID 180 DC fast charger and the INGEREV FUSION-type AC stations, which use the same alarm list. The older 4-digit codes of the FUSION, CITY and GARAGE are at the end of the page.

Where to read the code: in Chargekeeper, charging station list, connector details, Information
column (or the in-progress sessions list, Information column). It shows
"OCPP code - manufacturer code - information". See Manufacturer error codes.

How Ingeteam reports its errors

The charging station sends a text of the form "number - label" in the manufacturer code field (vendorErrorCode), for example 33 - powermeter comm error or 15 - control pilot shortcircuit. The number is the one in the RAPID 180 alarm list: look it up in the tables below.

On charging stations supervised by Chargekeeper, the AC stations (INGEREV FUSION type) also send numbers from this list, not the 4-digit codes of their older manuals. Some stations only send a generic text in the information field (faulted state): see the observed codes below.

In a label, left and right refer to the left or right logical connector. The station's Web Manager (Warnings tab) also shows the alarm history, downloadable as CSV.

INGEREV RAPID 180 — notices sent to the supervision platform

Lower-priority notices, in the same numbering. Numbers 47 and 48 also exist as alarms (contactor fault). For 41 and 42, the number at the end of the label is the module status word, in hexadecimal (for example 3080002 = 0x03080002): the Ingeteam alarm list decodes it bit by bit; pass it on to technical assistance.

Other models / older firmware — INGEREV FUSION, CITY, GARAGE (4-digit codes)

Codes from the INGEREV AC station manuals, visible on the light (steady red on the outlet concerned, without showing the code), on the CITY display and in the Web Manager. The values are powers of two; the documentation does not say whether several alarms can combine. Codes 0004 and 0064 are only described in an unofficial copy of the CITY manual, hence (to be confirmed).

Code Meaning What to do OCPP code
0001 Installation fault: station protections tripped and stay off while the fault persists Have a qualified electrician check the installation and reset tripped protections. Have a qualified electrician check the protection wiring for loose cables. Call Ingeteam support if it persists. —
0002 Supply interrupted: no grid voltage, or protections tripped and the fault has since cleared Station restarts when supply returns. If it persists, have a qualified electrician check the voltage at the station supply terminals. If internal protections tripped, handle as 0001. —
0008 Power relay / connector energisation fault: outlet live when it should not be, or the reverse Report it to technical service quoting the code. Check that protections are switched on (CITY manual). —
0016 Lost internal communication with the energy meter Have protections checked and reset if needed. Have the meter connection checked. Call Ingeteam support if it persists. —
0032 RFID card reader fault Restart the station. Contact Ingeteam if it persists after restart. —

0256 Abnormal charging sequence, or vehicle unplugged during charge Clears at end of session or after a restart. If it persists with no session, call Ingeteam support. —
0512 Vehicle drew more than the permitted maximum current for longer than allowed Clears at the end of the offending vehicle's session. —
1024 Lost communication with the power manager (load management) Check the link to the power manager. If no power manager is installed, disable it in the station configuration. —
0004 Connector access flap/cover not in the position expected for the charging state (CITY models) (to be confirmed) Check nothing blocks the flap. Have the control-board wiring checked. —
0064 Tilt sensor alarm (CITY models fitted with a tilt sensor) (to be confirmed) Check the unit stands vertical; correct the installation. —
