Ekoenergetyka error codes

This page covers Ekoenergetyka DC fast chargers (EKO90 and Axon range models, referenced 3-21-xx.xxxx). Ekoenergetyka publishes no code list: every code below was observed on charging stations supervised by Chargekeeper, with the label sent by the charger.

Where to read the code: in Chargekeeper, charging station list, connector details, Information
column (or the in-progress sessions list, Information column). It shows
"OCPP code - manufacturer code - information". See Manufacturer error codes.

How Ekoenergetyka reports its errors

The charger sends a dotted numeric code of 3 to 6 segments in the manufacturer code field (vendorErrorCode) (for example 4.50.2, 100.30.23, 2.41.0.0). The information field carries an English label, cut at 50 characters (OCPP 1.6 limit); some labels are technical tokens rather than sentences (rcd-dc, button:emergency-shutdown, batlow_sat). The OCPP code is almost always OtherError, sometimes EVCommunicationError.

  • A code ending in .0 may signal a return to normal: for example 4.50.0 "Power is no longer limited by module failure" after 4.50.1 or 4.50.2 (power reduced because of a power module).

  • Codes ending in a large number (for example 51.1.4.5.131072) look like bit fields; their label is only warning.

  • The same code can arrive with different labels (for example 1.1.7 with rcd-dc or error:power-loss).

The meaning of each segment of the code is not known. Ekoenergetyka's technical documentation (manuals, error list) is reserved to the EkoDocs partner portal, available after creating an account. The charger's local web console (CMC, Charger Management Console) shows the error history and error analysis. For a diagnosis, ask Ekoenergetyka or your maintenance partner for the error list.

Codes observed on our stations, not documented by Ekoenergetyka

These codes were received from charging stations supervised by Chargekeeper but are not in the
manufacturer's public documentation. The label is the one sent by the charging station itself.
