Connect an Easee charging station
This guide explains how to configure the OCPP URL of an Easee charging station to establish the connection with Chargekeeper supervision. OCPP partner administrators can change the URL directly from the Easee cloud.
For non-administrator users
If you do not have administrative rights to change the charging station's OCPP URL, and Chargekeeper supervision is already preconfigured, you simply need to select Chargekeeper from your Easee charging station's configuration software. In this case, you will not need to enter the OCPP URL manually, and the charging station will be automatically connected to Chargekeeper supervision.
Creating the connection token
Important: you must first create a connection token in Chargekeeper of type Cloud and enter the charging station's identifier in this token.
Steps to change the OCPP URL on the Easee portal

Log in to the Easee portal:
- Log in to the Easee portal with your administrator credentials.

Access the Company Settings:
- In the menu at the top right of the page, click Company Settings.

Access the Integrations page:
- A window opens as an overlay. Click the Integrations tab in this window to access the configuration options.

Change the OCPP URL:
- Scroll down the page to the OCPP URL section.
- Enter the URL provided by Chargekeeper for the supervision of your charging station.
Important:
- Do not enter a trailing slash (
/) in the URL. The Easee cloud automatically adds a slash at the end of the URL. If you add one manually, it will cause an error. - Easee supports both ws (unsecured WebSocket) and wss (secured WebSocket) connections. Use wss for a secure connection, in accordance with Chargekeeper's recommendations.
